After a long battle with kidney disease, Ron Coletti, 77, transitioned from this earth on May 9, 2025. He was born in Clinton, IN to Charles and Louise Penrod Coletti. He graduated from Clinton High School, Indiana State University, and then became a journeyman tool and die maker and computer programmer at Guide Lamp. He loved his job and enjoyed going to work every day.
On September 29, 1967, he married Pamela Caldwell. They were devoted to each other in their marriage of 57 years. They were parents to two beloved daughters.
Ron will be remembered by family and friends as a kind, gentle, and talented man. With his inventive mind, he could fix or create almost anything. He once fixed a broken transmission with a piece he bought for 50 cents at an auto junkyard. For approximately 20 winters, Ron created a popular and beautiful display of lighted snowflakes hung from tall trees in their yard on North Raible Avenue. His gentle and friendly ways endeared him to many relatives and friends of all ages and in all walks of life.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pam Coletti, his daughters Megan Coletti Rector of Anderson, IN and Alyssa Coletti (husband Jason Hensley) of Durham, NC, grandchildren Henry Rector, Bea Hensley, and Rosy Hensley, his sisters, Darlene (Andy) Myers of Hanna City, IL and Gayle Salmond of New Port Richey, FL, his loving sister-in-law Beverly Bolinger of Rochester, MI, and brother and sister-in-law Richard and Linda Caldwell of Anderson. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his in-laws, Richard and Martha Caldwell.
A celebration of Ron's life will be held in the Community Room of Loose Funeral Home, 200 W. 53rd St, Anderson, IN on Friday, June 13 from 4 until 7 pm. There will be a small remembrance service at 6:00 and anyone is welcome to share memories of Ron at that time.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ron's memory to the Animal Protection League, The Humane Society of Madison County, or Anderson's Paramount Theatre. www.LooseCares.com
