Charles T. Conway, of Valencia, formerly of Pittsburgh, 6-11-1942 to 3-13-2026
Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."
Chuck Conway was a man with a plan and trusted God to adjust and guide him in whatever he
put his hand to. This trust in God served him well in his career and business ownership, his
service to the church, his zeal for missions, and, for Chuck, his most valued role as husband,
father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Proverbs 16:9 "In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps."
Chuck stood in amazement and gratitude that God's steps for him included his wife Donna, who
discovered what it was like to be deeply loved and valued by this man of integrity. Chuck,
having come from a small family, delighted as he watched his family of 3 children blossom into a
small tribe. It was his greatest joy to begin each day with his wife Donna, his Bible, coffee, and
the Holy Spirit guiding their prayers for friends and family. He will be greatly missed by his tribe.
His 3 Children & spouses: Mara (Juergens-Funte) & Troy, Jeffrey & Michele, Heather (Lefever) &
Dwight. His 20 Grandchildren & spouses: Juergens family: Abigail (Breese) & Jonathan, Zach, Will & Briona, Matt & Katie, Bethany
(Hehn) & Jacob, Emma (Funte) & Luke, Conway family: Andrew, Elliott & Cari, Ceddie & Sarah, Hannah & Kevin, David & Alexis, Jared,
Noah, Nathan, Niles, Nolan, Lefever Family: Caleb, Mattie, Ryleigh (Dickhudt) & Garrett, Makenzie (Eklund) & Christofor. His ten great-grandchildren, Declan, Eliza, Theodore, Dorothy, Juliana, Clementine, Henry, Billy, Charlie and Aria, his sister, Joyce (Shaginaw) & Dave. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Hazel Conway, and his son-in-law, Bill Juergens. I Corinthians 13, "Love is patient, kind, it does not envy or boast, it is not proud, rude, self-seeking, or easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs, it does not rejoice in sin but rejoices in truth, it always protects, always trusts, always hopes and always perseveres. Love never fails." Chuck loved this. Chuck believed in simplicity of the gospel. He didn't fuss about forcing the gospel on others because he understood this it was a choice that each on of us is free to make, and he had no control over someone else's choices. He lived love with the greatest generosity and integrity. We are so thankful for the example of this legacy of love, and we, his family, know how much we were loved by this man and he knew how much we loved him. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced Monday. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to North Way Christian Community, 12121 Perry Highway,
