Daniel Conway Obituary
Daniel was born on April 4, 1950, in Baraboo, WI, the son of Leo J. and Loretta (Pickar) Conway. He graduated from Baraboo High School in 1968. Growing up, Daniel was a determined athlete, playing football in high school and then in college. He always had an admirable grit about him when it came to competitive sports.
He then moved on to earn a BS Degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson and a Law Degree from the University of San Francisco. Daniel was most recently employed by Barton Creek Lending Group as a Licensed Mortgage Originator.
Daniel also enjoyed spending time at West Lake Country Club in Austin where he passionately played tennis, lifted weights and enjoyed golfing. Skiing with his son, Jared, was always something he looked forward to. He spent many hours relaxing on the beaches of Port Aransas playing Bocce ball.
He is survived by his son, Jared, of Boulder, Colorado and long time companion, Colleen Rouhselang of Austin, TX. He is also survived by his brother, Marc (Bonnie) Conway, of Madison, WI; his sisters, Annette Cottrill of West Bend, WI and Diana Chalek of Carol Stream, IL, a niece and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Loretta and his brother-in-law, Robert Cottrill.
A Celebration of Life for Daniel will be held on 4/4 at 2:30 to 5:30 pm at 6815 Cypress Point N.
