Charles David Copeland, 52, of Auburn, ME, passed away on August 21,2025 from an unexpected heart attack.

Charles was born on August 8, 1973, in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Milton and Martha Copeland.

Charles attended Alamogordo High School in New Mexico, He then traveled with family to Maine and fell in love with its beauty.

Charles was a hardworking and dedicated waiter at Rolandeau's and Marco's restaurants where he was known for providing welcoming service and care. Among his many responsibilities, he loved to make time for his family and friends.

His strength was his kindness, touching the lives of everyone he encountered with unforgettable grace.

Charles is survived by his loving children, Micheala Copeland and Christian Copeland. He was a wonderful father and was always there when his children needed him the most. Offering support, wisdom and unconditional love.

He loved going fishing and camping, alongside his children. He truly enjoyed the Maine wilderness and lakes and shared that love with Micheala and Christian.

Naturally Charles was also a friend to so many who felt his kindness. His absence will leave a void in our hearts.

"Known for his kind spirit" he loved his Sister Audrey Cahoy, brother-in-law Kurtis Cahoy, their daughter Jessica, sister Gail Inge, brother John Copeland, brother George Copeland, sister-in-law Debbie Copeland.

He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Martha and Milton Ware.

A private service took place with immediate family. A future celebration of life will be planned and announced at a later time.
