Charles Dale Mills

Charles Dale Mills, 85 of Ruffsdale died Friday August 13, 2021 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was born March 3, 1936 in Mount Pleasant a son of the late Charles C. and Hazel M. Foss Mills. Mr. Mills was a 1954 graduate of the former South Huntingdon Twp. High School. He was a self employed farmer for most of his life and had also worked at the former Modulus Plant and also for the American General Life Insurance Company. He was a member of the Pennsville Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Emma Lou Pritts Mills, whom he married on November 30, 1957; his sons, Richard Mills and his wife Cynthia of Smithton and Gregory Mills and his wife Caprice of Smithton; three grandchildren, Michelle Mills, Justin Mills and his wife Kalie and Alexandria Torock and her husband Cody; three great grandchildren, Parker and Myah Costain and Annalysia Torock and one Baby Torock on the way. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by an infant brother. Family and friends will be received from 2-8 P.M. Monday in the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 406 E. Washington St., Mount Pleasant, Pa. Additional viewing will take place in the Pennsville Baptist Church on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M., the hour of services with Rev. Dr. Terry V. Murray officiating assisted by Rev.
