Charles Anthony Dansak, Jr., 91, of McKeesport, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. He was born January 5, 1933 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Charles A. Dansak, Sr. and the late Anna (Bortak) Dansak. He was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish- St. Angela Church, White Oak , and was also a member of the White Oak American Legion and the Polish Club. Charles served in the US Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Frances (Sabolik) Dansak, daughters, Patti Gaska of Port Vue, Terri (Rick) Gardner of Port Vue, Barb Dansak of McCandles, and Karen Ann Dansak of McKeesport, grandchildren, Emily (Andrew Schibik) Gaska, Ross Morgan and Jarrod Morgan, sisters, Carol Taylor of West Mifflin, Virginia Neal, Janet Wargo and Mary Ann Terza of McKeesport, Marsha Killian of Elizabeth Township and Kakey Cortes of Liberty Borough, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Sotak, brother, George Dansak and son-in-law, Duane Gaska. Friends are welcome Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, director. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 19, 2024 at 12 noon at Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Church. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
