CHARLES R. “RANDY” DAVIS
Age 74, of Bethel Park, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Born in Belle Vernon, he was a son of the late Charles B. and Violet Mae (Hott) Davis. He was the loving husband of 47 years with Mary Anne (Willard) Davis; beloved father of Daniel J. Davis (Erica Johnson), Chris Davis (Amanda), and Mary Beth Deckard (Dave); doting grandfather of Genevieve May Davis, Rosalie Clara Davis, Alivia Harley Davis, Ava Santa Deckard, and Elyse Eleanor Deckard. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Gregory B. Davis (the surviving JoAnn). Randy is also survived by his brothers-in-law, David E. Willard and John G. Willard and many nieces and nephews.
With family always his number one priority, Randy was the consummate hard worker. He began his career working for 13 years as a coal miner, eventually working as a mortgage banker and retiring as a bank executive. Randy enjoyed fishing, and was artistically and musically inclined. He was an avid drawer, painter, photographer, and guitar player.
All are welcome on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 6-8 PM, FREYVOGEL-SLATER FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 112 Fort Couch Rd., 412-835-1860 (Opposite Macy's South Hills Village). Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, September 4, 2025, 10 AM, St. Thomas More Church, Resurrection Parish, 126 Fort Couch Rd. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Jimmy Fund, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284, www.jimmyfund.org.
