Charles J. Davis Jr., 66, of Canton, passed away at 8:54 AM on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on June 22, 1959 in Canton, a son of Charles J. and Wilma G. (Baxter) Davis Sr. They preceded him in death.
Also preceding Charles in death is one son, Charles Wayne Davis, and two sisters, Annie Davis, Charlotte Stout.
Surviving is two sons, Harley Davis of Canton; Shaun Davis of Kentucky; four grandchildren; brother, William Davis of Canton; three sisters, Becky Pierce of Alabama, Joann Davis of Canton, and Bonnie Coon of Alabama.
Charles worked and retired from Greenwood Cemetery, as a grounds keeper, and served his country in the United States Army.
Per Charles wishes, there will be no services, cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorials can be made to the Charles Davis Jr. Family in care of Sedgwick Funeral Homes. To leave online condolences please visit www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
