Charles Davis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Urban Winkler Funeral Home - Connersville on Dec. 9, 2025.
Charles Davis of Connersville passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 86. He was born in McKee, Kentucky on August 6, 1939, the son of the late John Clarence Davis and Effie Jane Isaacs Davis.
In September of 1963, Charles married the love of his life, the former Twila Norris in Jellico, TN. They shared 62 years of marriage prior to his death and were blessed with two sons.
Charles served his county in the United States Air Force. He was affiliated with Trinity Anglican Church. Charles worked 30 years as a traveling foreman as a Glazier, installing glass in skyscrapers all over. He also owned and operated Kelly Davis Glazier. He was an avid Kentucky Wildcats Basketball fan, enjoyed watching college football, tinkering, and was a collector of vinyl albums. One of his greatest past times was watching his grandchildren participate in various sports and activities.
In addition to his wife, Twila, his love and memories will be cherished by his sons, Charles Victor (Cynthia Lynne) Davis and Timothy Shane (Kristin Kay) Davis; a brother, William Davis; grandchildren, Mackenzie Paige Davis, Mariah Taylor Davis, Hannah Shea (Clinton) Adams, and Jacob Christian (Hannah) Davis; and great grandchildren, Leland Rexrode, Eli Davis, Leo Steinmetz, Oli Steinmetz, Zariah Zinaman, Zellie Zinaman, Clark Adams, James Adams and Evelyn Adams.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, four brothers and a great granddaughter, Marley Davis.
A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 518 N Eastern Ave., Connersville on Saturday December 20, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
