Charles E. Deines, 80, of Louisiana, MO, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the Evelyn's House in Creve Coeur, MO. Born December 6, 1944 in Lexington, Nebraska, Charlie and his mother, Ruth Deines-Riley, moved to St. Louis, MO when he was a child. He attended school in St. Louis and earned a degree in computer science from the University of MO-St. Louis following his military service. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War. In 1974, Charlie married Susan Lowry and they were together nearly 51 years. Upon retirement in 2003, Charlie and Sue made Louisiana, MO their home. He is survived by his wife Sue Deines, a niece Michelle & husband Michael, a sister in-law Jo Ellen, childhood friends Wally, Richard, and Hadley, and Louisiana friends. Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, MO is in charge of cremation rites. Memorial donations may be made to Friends of the Louisiana Library, PO Box 375, Louisiana, MO 63353, Evelyn's House, 1000 N.
