Charles Philip Delamielleure December 31, 1960 – August 9, 2025
Charles Philip Delamielleure, 64, of Howell, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025. Born on December 31, 1960, in Rochester, Michigan, he was the son of Frederick Delamielleure of Houghton Lake, MI, and the late Beverly Delamielleure. Known by all as Chuck, was a man of few words but a deep and steady presence in the lives of those who loved him.
Chuck shared 42 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Lynn Delamielleure, who built a beautiful family based on love, fun and adventure. He was a devoted father to Jennifer (Ryan) Gibbard, Derek Delamielleure, and Kayli Delamielleure, all of Howell. His greatest joys in recent years came from being "Papa" to his cherished grandchildren-Isabelle, Oliver, and Everett-who brought a sparkle to his eyes and an extra smile to his face.
He is survived by his siblings Denise (Michael) Fox, Randy Delamielleure (Bunny), Sean (Heidi) McNeese, Rebecka (Steven) Sanchez, Joy (Rodney) Howard, Bryan (Rachal) Holdwick, and his sister-in-law Deborah Delamielleure; along with many uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A lifelong muscle car enthusiast, Chuck could often be found under the hood of a classic car or cruising with the windows down, appreciating the rumble of a finely tuned engine. Though quiet by nature, his actions spoke volumes-through his hard work, his loyalty, and the steadfast way he cared for his family.
Chuck's life will be celebrated privately. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages friends to honor him by taking a quiet drive in the car you love most, and remembering that sometimes, the best things are said without words.
