My cousin Charles was and intelligent and thoughtful person. My memories of him are mostly childhood memories, since we moved away from New Jersey when I was a teen. I remember walking in the woods as children, fishing trips to Barnegat Bay, family barbeques, and marveling at his collection of models and trains. I am grateful that we had a reunion of sorts a few years back when he was visiting my father in Florida. The disease to which he succumbed was cruel, but I am sure that he is now at peace.

Chuck was a friend. We worked together at Weapon Station Earle for years, and after retirement we had sometimes gotten together with mutual friends at Jim Raevis's home. Very saddened to learn of his passing. My condolences to his family.
