Charles was born May 26, 1935 in Armada, MI to the late Henry and Mary Dupont.
He married Sandra Lee on January 2, 1970. They spent 36 loving years together until her passing on June 3, 2007. He served his country in the United States Army.
Charles was a lifelong farmer with tractor of choice being International. He enjoyed cutting trees down and chopping firewood. In his spare time he loved woodworking and tinkering with equipment. Charles was known to drop anything he was doing to help a friend or neighbor in need and a Pa to many others.
Charles is survived by his children, Christopher Dupont, Marjorie (Channon) Pridemore, Paul (Denise) LaRowe and Tammy (Dale) Loveland; grandchildren, LeeAnn (Ryan) Jacobs, Robert (Rachel) Vanlerberghe, Joshua (Cristin) Pridemore, Paul (Josie) LaRowe, Patrick LaRowe, Brent (Kaylee Shifflebine) LaRowe, Cassandra (David Bajuk) Loveland and Carleton Loveland; great-grandchildren, RoseAnn, Chloe, Lyla, Lincoln, Sadie, Sonora, Lawson, Huck and Thatcher; sister, Betty Burns.
Charles is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Mary Dupont and wife, Sandra Lee.
The family honors the memory of Charles and invites you to visit and share memories Monday, December 30, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Memphis Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family."
