Charles Eagle Obituary
He was born to Chuck and Joyce Eagle in Greenfield, Indiana and grew up in Johnston, Iowa with his younger brother Mark. He traveled all over the world before returning home to Johnston, where he raised his two daughters, Zoe and Scarlett Eagle. Chip was a loving father, a devoted son, a loyal friend, a brilliant writer, a talented musician, a lifelong scholar, and a natural poet. He will be missed by the many people he touched through his words and music.
Chip was happiest when he was listening to good music with good people. He loved reading, writing, making people laugh, the Grateful Dead, cats, good espresso, bad sci-fi movies, veggie tacos, crossword puzzles, trivia, creating elaborate snacks, and his family.
A celebration of Chip's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to March for Our Lives in Chip's honor.
