Our dad, Charles Edward Easter III, “Chuck” as friends knew him, passed away on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025 at his son’s home surrounded by family.

Chuck was born to Bonita (Johnson) Easter and Charles Edward Easter II on May 12, 1954 in Danville, IL, and grew up in Marshfield, IN with his maternal grandparents Pearl and Bob Johnson.

Chuck was a 1972 graduate of Seeger High School. After graduation he joined the marines and was honorably discharged due to his health. After his discharge he worked several jobs including Dri-All, Hyster and Heat CRAFT from where he retired in 2003. After retirement he spent time as a cross country driver for several years. Chuck loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed football and was an avid Purdue Boilermaker and Green Bay Packer fan. NASCAR was another favorite sport he enjoyed with Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver. Chuck enjoyed westerns with Gunsmoke being a favorite show.

On January 6, 1973 Chuck married Debbie Lister. They had two children, Heather and Chad. They divorced and Chuck married Norma Hoarth on February 15, 1991 and had one daughter, Kayla.
