Paula Easter Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heartland Cremation & Burial Society - Greater Kansas City, Missouri - Rayt on Feb. 19, 2026.
In loving memory of our mother, Paula Easter (Landsaw), who passed away on February 16, 2026, after a courageous battle with lung cancer in Raytown, MO. Paula was the devoted wife of Michael Easter, and loving mother of John, Joe, Josh, Michael Shawn, Jason, Faith and Tennison. Mom will be deeply missed by all who know and love her.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. Mom was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Everyone was welcomed into her circle and felt the unconditional love she provided. Mom had a great sense of humor and any time she traveled it was always an adventure.

Growing up, Mom was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or just a shoulder to cry on. She was a woman of strong faith and instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to. Mom was fiercely dedicated to all of her children. Family came first and was above all else to our Mom, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by Mom's absence is impossible to fill.

There is not a child in need Mom did not "adopt" as her own, wrapping Angel Wings around their soul's and sharing unconditional love. Many viewed her as a second mother. She has friends that will miss her from near and as far away as Australia.

Mom was predeceased by her husband, Michael Easter, parents William and Grace Landsaw, sister Sandy Hicks, adopted granddaughter Lisa Doughty, and several of her pups. Mom is survived by her sons John Sansone (Cindy), Joe Easter, Josh Easter (Luna), Michael Shawn Easter (Wanda), and Jason Easter (Rosy Palmer), grandchildren Tiffany Bickerstaff (Evan), Thomas Easter, and Samantha Easter. Adopted daughter Faith Coleman and Tennison Salmen. Adopted grandchildren Donnie Doughty and Courtney Salmen, and great grandson Silas.

Mother, you will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
