Charles Eckhardt Obituary
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at Fredericksburg Funeral Home, with interment following at Greenwood Cemetery.
Eckhardt was born Aug. 1, 1945, in Fredericksburg, to Alfred and Elisa Priess Eckhardt. He married Lila Kay Bauman on June 24, 1967 and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Eckhardt is survived by two daughters, one son and spouses, Kayla and Pablo Sanchez of Fredericksburg, Sheree Burrow of Llano, and Darren and Robyn Eckhardt of Fredericksburg; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and three sisters, Helen Eckhardt, Gladys Friedrich and husband Dale, and Denise Eckhardt.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Gerlene Hill and great-granddaughter, Kynleigh Groce.
