Charles Edwards, Jr., transitioned on December 18, 2025, at the age of 72. Charles is survived by his loving and devoted wife Elder Cynthia Lewis Edwards, daughters; Cemetria Shelby (Herman), Crushana Monroe (Barry), Christian Edwards. Grandchildren; Darren Darensburg and Sean Shelby, great grandchild; Devyn Darensburg, one sister; Joyce Dalcour, one brother; Kenneth Edwards (Toni). Preceded in death by parents Gladys Perkins Edwards and Charles Edwards, Sr. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Family, friends and coworkers of Southeast Louisiana State Hospital of Mandeville, Victorious Life, Bibleway MBC and St. Anthony Divine SCC are invited to attend the Celebration of Charles' life on Saturday, January 3, 2026, for 11:00 a.m. at Victorious Life Family Worship Center, 8896 Richmond Dr., Laplace, LA 70068.
