It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Charles "Chuck" Eudaily Sr at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 65 years, Janalee; children Charles Jr (Cheryl), Rob (Dana), Denver CO, Tom (Sally) Calgary, AB, Jim (Tiffany), Plain City, OH; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many more family and friends.
Chuck was born in Ottawa, IL and raised in Warrensburg, MO. At school he excelled and lettered in Track and Field and Basketball. After he finished school he joined the military and served in the United States Army. While stationed at Dugway Military Base in Utah, he met the love of his life Janalee at a dance on the base. They were married three months later on May 29, 1959 in Bountiful, UT. Shortly after they moved to Los Angeles where they started their family. A few years later they moved to Plano, TX and then to Calgary, AB, where they have lived ever since. While working in Calgary Chuck got involved in coaching and became a highly respected softball, volleyball and basketball referee/umpire. He was an exception golfer, which was one of his passions. He also loved spending time supporting his sons in all the sports they were involved in, and there were many! He loved his family and enjoyed many outings and trips with them. Chuck also enjoyed serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he held many callings and responsibilities. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour and one liners. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral Service will be held for Chuck at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - California Blvd Chapel (7017 California Boulevard NE, Calgary) on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 11:00 am.
