Ezell, Charles "Chuck" L., of Batavia, passed away on June 3rd, 2023, at the age of 78. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 27th, 1944, to the late Lloyd and Bernetta (Schottner) Ezell. He was also the beloved stepson of the late Vie Ezell. Chuck is survived by his wife, Margaret Ezell (formerly Trasser) of 40 years.
Chuck was the loving father to Shannon Ezell, Chuck Ezell, Chris Ezell, and Jessica (Tim) Goins, and cherished grandfather to Kylie, Ava, Caleb, Evelyn, and Hunter. He was preceded in death by his dear friend, Howard Coates.
Chuck worked over 20 years as a custodian for Clermont Northeastern Schools. He was also a Mason at Lodge 437 and a volunteer fireman for Batavia Township. Outside of work he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time with family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Care entrusted to Moore Family Funeral Homes. Family will be receiving friends and loved ones on Thursday, June 8th from 11:00AM until time of service at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 225 Spring St., Batavia, OH, 45103. Burial to follow at Batavia Union Cemetery.
