Charles Farris Obituary

Charles R. Farris, 75, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Charles was born August 17, 1945 in Chatteroy, WV to the late Menifee and Anna Farris. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Milo Farris and Verlon Farris and sisters Alma Gussler and Helen Miller.
Charles was a veteran, having proudly served his country US Marine Corp. He professed his faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his brothers George Farris, Calvin (Pam) Farris, and Robert Farris; and sisters Wilma Linger, Eva Linger, Shirley (Jim) Simpson, and Carol (Jim) Kitts.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harry "Slagel" Miller and Brother Roger Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Yatesville Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Farris and his family.
