Charles Ferrell Obituary
Blakie worked many jobs over his lifetime. He loved fishing with his brother James.
Blackie is survived by children: Lillian Mae "Luckie" (Tim) LeBlanc, Alan Ferrell, Joey Ferrell, Tyrone Ferrell and Dell Franks, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings James Ferrell and Shirley (Lester) Abbott as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Mary Coffey, Janet Lowe, Preston "Butch" Ferrell and Judy Conyers.
A memorial service to celebrate Blackie's life will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Rose City Funeral Home 2011 Broad Street New Castle, IN 47362. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
