Charles "Chuck" Fessler was born on September 28, 1942 in New York.
Chuck's life, soon after college, led him to law enforcement where he served and created programs that would further strengthen the service of protection and law. Among his duties, Chuck has been a detective, Under Sheriff of Multnomah County and Chief of Police King City.
After having been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, Chuck retired as Chief of Police. He began the last chapter in his journey to God. Chuck passed away peacefully on January 13, 2024.
Chuck's wife, Kathy, extends her love and gratitude to his fellow officers for being his friends and honoring him.
Service will be at Beautiful Savior Church on SE 92nd Avenue at 1:00 pm January 25, 2024.
Interment at Gethsemani Cemetery 11666 SE Stevens Road.

Charles did me several good favors while we were cadets.For example, he advised me to be on the alert for an underclassman ,who was hoping to catch me off guard and take violent revenge because I had placed him on report for a serious offense.
