Daniel Parisella Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mount Scott Funeral Home - Portland on Mar. 3, 2026.
Daniel Arthur Parisella, 48, passed away on January 20, 2026.

He was born on May 7, 1977, in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Dan was the beloved son of Joe and Karen Parisella. He is survived by his parents; his grandmother, Marion Parisella; his sister Laura Parisella and partner Jay Fullerton and their children Brayden, Brielle, and Dylan; his sister Christine Patrick and her husband, Michael, and their daughter Teagan and baby sister on the way; sister Michelle Parisella; and brother Joseph ("JoJo") Parisella. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Dan was predeceased by his grandparents Arthur and Audrey Pelletier and Joseph Parisella, as well as his best friend, Ziggy the French Bulldog.

Dan built a career as a landscape construction and design professional, known for his dedication, exceptional skill, and passion for his work. He operated a wide range of heavy equipment and machinery and possessed extensive knowledge of plants, shrubs, trees, and the many elements that come together to create beautiful outdoor spaces. Walkways and patios were among his specialties, and his craftsmanship could be seen in countless projects.

Outside of work, Dan enjoyed helping others. Family, friends, and neighbors knew they could count on him for all types of projects-planting and cutting down trees, putting up fences, building walkways, planting shrubs, and much more. Many homes and yards are better today because of his generosity and talent.

Dan loved both playing and watching sports, especially hockey, and he was an avid Boston Bruins fan. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hiking and biking, and he cherished cross country road trips, camping at state parks along the way. He especially loved spending time at the family house in Maine.

Dan touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and moments shared over the years. He loved his family deeply and will be profoundly missed. We will continue to honor his memory by spending more time outdoors as a family, cheering on the Boston Bruins, and overindulging in desserts-just as he would have wanted.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 21st, at Netcast Church, 100 Independence Way, Liberty Tree Mall, (across from the inside entrance of AMC Theatre), Danvers, MA 01923. The Service begins at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service at 9:30 AM.
