I love you Grampi. You have passed onto another realm now; I will always be with you, and you, with me.
This Sunday, I will be taking a hike up one of the most beautiful mountains in New England, in your memory.
You have given me mountains of love, and your smile will always shine through me.
I feel as though bringing you to a gorgeous mountain peak;
your immortal spirit surrounding me, your glowing love within me,
Will be just as enjoyable for the both of us - for I wouldn´t be there without you, and you, without me.
You had a smile and energy about you, that filled the room; when you came to my father´s Wake last year - your presence; that smile; the big hug we gave to each other - made me feel so much better, at such a tough time.
To others, you were Gerardo Parisella; to me, "Grampi" - my loving grandfather, whom I will forever carry with me.
Rest In Peace,
and maybe, just maybe,
The Celtics win The Finals next year
