Doris Parisella Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Roberts & Sons Funeral Home - Foxborough on Jul. 30, 2025.
Doris M. (Bouchard) Parisella of Foxboro, formerly of Beverly and raised in
Salem, MA, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, at the age of 90. She was the
daughter of Julienne (Morin) Bouchard of Canada and Joseph P. Bouchard of
Salem, MA.
Doris lived a life defined by faith, love, and quiet resilience. A devoted mother to
her six daughters, she faced life's challenges with grace and grit, always putting
family first. She worked the night shift as a telephone operator so she could be
there each day when her daughters came home from school, ensuring that-despite
having little-they always felt safe, seen, and loved.
Her love wasn't flashy, but it was constant. It was Halloween beef stews and
orange-frosted cupcakes. It was Christmas lights and snowflakes on every surface.
It was handwritten cards, Meals on Wheels deliveries, and candles lit at St.
Anthony's Shrine. It was taking the train into Boston to soak in the sights, the
Pops, and the theater, well into her seventies.
Doris also had a playful, adventurous spirit. In later years, she traveled to Paris,
worked a week aboard a schooner, drove a convertible along the California coast,
and, at 81, saw "The Boss" in concert. She embraced life's joys without pretense,
with a deep and abiding Catholic faith that guided her every step. She lived by
JOY: Jesus, Others, Yourself.
She will be remembered for her kindness, humor, stubbornness, and the
unwavering love she poured into her family. Doris leaves behind her daughters:
Julie M. Abdalah and her husband, the late Ernest Abdalah; Judy Parisella; Mary
Parisella and her husband, John McCarthy; Patti Parisella and her husband, David
Stowell; Pamela Dailey and her husband, Steven Dailey; and Christine Ciampa and
her husband, Frank Ciampa. She was the proud grandmother of eight and great-
grandmother of three.
Her family will forever carry her in their hearts-in every story, song, Christmas
ornament, and act of love passed forward.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Celebration of Life Funeral
Mass on August 9, at 10:00 AM, at St. Mary's Church, 58 Carpenter Street,
Foxboro, MA 02035. Immediately followed by a reception at the Layfette House,

held at a later date.
