Morgan Funeral Home & Crematory - New Port RicheyCharles (Chuck) Albert Fisher Jr, 80, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on November 29, 2025. He passed quietly in his home under hospice care with his wife Josephine (JoAnne) with him.
Chuck was born on February 2, 1945, in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Parents Charles Albert Fisher, Sr. and Beulah Landis.
Chuck graduated from Auburn Heights Avondale High School in 1963.
Chuck married Josephine Ann Boyle (Joanne) on January 21, 2012, at Anclote Park, in New Port Richey, FL.
Chuck retired from General Motors in 2003 as Lead photographer for the Ergonomics Department. He worked for GM for 40 years.
He loved photography and all sports, especially football. Chuck was a youth football coach who touched the lives of many of his players, who kept in touch with him long after their playing days.
Chuck was a member of The Shepards Chapel Church. He worshiped there for many years and had a close relationship to God.
He will be remembered for his quick wit, wry sense of humor, Chuck-isms and tenacious loyalty to the ones he loved.
Remaining to cherish Chuck’s memory are spouse, Joanne; children, Scott, Brian, Lori, Melissa, Judy and Kathy; grandchildren, Derek, Sarah, Tricia, Missy, Max, Evie, Chloe, Nicholas, Marianna, Brendan and Erin; great-grandchildren, Dexter, Charlie, Blake, Lucian and Maximilian; nieces and nephews, Bruce and Debbie Aldrich.
Preceding Chuck in death are his sister Wilma Jean Aldrich and parents, Charles Sr. and Beulah.
A Celebration of Life, with Clergy officiating, will be held Monday Dec 15th from 12PM-2PM at Mill Pond Estates Club House located at 7729 Morningdale Drive, New Port Richey, FL 34653. Flowers or other memorials may be sent to the Mill Pond Estates Club House address. Deliveries must arrive before 2 PM. Chuck’s final resting place will be at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan where his cremated remains will be placed above his father’s grave in accordance with his wishes.
Memorial donations in Chuck’s memory if so desired may be directed to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.
