Charles Edward "Chuck" Fooce Sr., age 79, of London, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025, surrounded by the family he loved so dearly.

A man of the outdoors and a true steward of the land, he found his greatest joy in living simply and working with his hands. Whether he was deer or rabbit hunting in the quiet woods, fishing by the water's edge, or tending to the ponds he cherished, he was always most at home under an open sky.

Over the years he worked as a true jack-of-all-trades – carpentry, general labor, field work, and was even known to work picking watermelons from time to time. There was little he couldn't do, and he carried every job with pride, humility, and an unmatched work ethic.

Above all, his family was the center of his world. He shared nearly 60 years of love and companionship with his beloved wife, Mary Ann (Nutt) Fooce, with 41 of them as husband and wife. Their bond was strong, steady, and a beautiful example of lifelong devotion. He was a loving partner, a proud family man, and a steady presence whose quiet strength will be deeply missed.

He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, simple joys, and a deep love – a life well lived and a man well loved.

Left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Mary; sons David Fooce, Steven Fooce, Chucky Fooce Jr., and David Neel; sister Kathy and sister-in-law Donna. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Birdie and brothers Larry and June.

In keeping with Chuck's wishes, he will be cremated, and no formal services will be held.
