Jay, I am just undone. I didn't realize Charlie was so close to passing. I spoke with him a few weeks ago but more recently was having very little luck getting even a text. Now I know why. I have known Charlie since All State Orchestra when we were in high school. He always claimed me as his "Gentile wife". What a dear. I am so very sorry that his journey in this life has ended so abruptly. I still had hope. It was so tough to hear him struggling - he has always been such an optimist! I loved him dearly and will always cherish having known him. I am so sorry for your loss!
