Charles A. From III

Charles A. From, III, age 81, of Lexington Square Retirement Community in Lombard, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Born on January 21, 1944, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Charles, II and Doris From.
Charles is survived by his sister, Sharon Rallis; brother-in-law, John Rallis; niece, Bethany; and great-niece, Ella. He spent most of his life in Elmhurst, IL, where he was deeply devoted to his family and a passionate lover of nature. He enjoyed hiking, canoeing, traveling, and capturing the beauty of the outdoors through photography.
In his later years, Charles made his home at Lexington Square Retirement Community, where he was loved by his care team and fellow residents. His kind spirit, positive outlook, and eagerness to participate in all that the community had to offer left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
A visitation will take place on Friday, May 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will follow at Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, IL.
