Beloved father of Charlie Gillenwater II, Jessica Marie Gillenwater, Joshua Aaron Gillenwater (Desirae Damron) and Jacob Charles Gillenwater (Sydney Paige). Cherished grandfather of Joey Vance, Madison Black, Riley Gillenwater, Adalyn Grace Gillenwater, Hazelyn Rae Gillenwater and Jackson Gillenwater. Dear brother of Carol Obranovich, Inez Thomas. the late Clyde Gillenwater, the late David Allen Gillenwater, Brenda Perkins, Timmy Gillenwater, the late Jimmy Gillenwater and Jamie Gillenwater. Dear son of the late Donna and the late Charles Gillenwater. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Charles will also be missed by his many friends.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Gillenwater by way of our beautiful Grandson, Jackson Charles who was born 12-8-21. We had several barbecues and shared holidays with Mr. Gillenwater. He will always hold a special place in my heart. He was kind, sincere, helpful, compassionate, funny, and just an all around good soul. God created a precious soul when he made him. I will fondly remember the good times with Mr. Gillenwater. Our love always to his son Jacob.
