Charles Franklin Glidden

Glidden, Charles Franklin (1947- 2022) Charles "Chuck" Glidden was born in Dover, NH, and spent most of his life living in Michigan with his wife, Mary. He worked for several years as a painter and many other things, but working at the Washtenaw Intermediate School District with special needs children and adults was his most fulfilling work, a role in which his kindness and humor shone. Foremost, Chuck was a selfless and loving husband, father, and Papa, whose greatest pride and truest joy was his children and grandchildren. Survived by Mary Glidden (Simmons), his children Rachel Brander (Patrick Brander), Jacob Glidden (Mayra Marquez), grandchildren Ella and Ethan Brander, and Penelope Glidden, his sisters Elizabeth Sawyer, Norma Harp (Darrell), Janis Marconi (Michael), and large extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents Maria and Norman Glidden (Procario), brothers Henry, Harley, Norman Jr and sisters Barbara Levesque, and Effie Morgan.
