Charles Graves (1976-2024) was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was funny, sarcastic, loving, and he was a gentle giant with a heart of gold. To know him was to love him. He loved the Kentucky Wildcats and the Denver Broncos.
He was born in Louisville, KY on December 22, 1976 but spent his childhood in Denver, CO before returning to Kentucky. He entered eternal life on June 12, 2024 surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was survived by his grandfathers Edgar B Jones Sr and Nolan Graves, grandmother Bernice Graves, mother Wanda Graves, father Charles Jones(Gwendolyn), life partner Ariel Powell, three children Cienna, Jeremiah, and Brittany, brother Chauncey Graves, sisters Charneeta
Graves, Char'Toya Fenwick (Deshaun), Roselynn Williamson (Marico), and Chazeree' Jones, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Alyne Jones.
A special celebration of Charles' life will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Owen Funeral Home in Jeffersontown, KY. Family visitation will be from 12-1 pm followed by an open visitation 1-4 pm.

Charles always made us laugh at work. He had names for most of us. Once he saw me doing pull ups. My name is Gedas and I have become the "Gedinator" since. I miss having him around.
