Charles Groover (90) of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away on January 29, 2026.
Charles was born in Frostproof, Florida in 1935 to Joseph and Dorothy Groover. He graduated in 1954 from Lakeview High School in Winter Garden. After high school he served in the United States Navy. Charles worked many years at Crown Cork & Seal in Winter Garden, where he later retired.
Charles is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Mary Groover, his daughter, Debbie (Alden) Faulk, son Mike Groover, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and one brother, Kenneth.
Charles is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Dorothy Groover and one brother, Gilbert.
Charles will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love of family and his faith. He will be missed by all those that loved and knew him.
