Charles Edward Hall, 83, of Attapulgus, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 1, 2025.
Charles Edward Hall was born April 22, 1942, in Graceville, FL, the son of Gabriel & Flora Taylor Hall. He was a graduate of Naples High School and earned an associate degree in aviation electronics. After twenty years of service to his country in the United States Navy, Charles retired as Chief Petty Officer. He then spent twenty-plus years serving his community in both Lee County and Leon County as an electrician at their respective school boards.
Charles had an innate sense of curiosity which led to many outdoor adventures. He tinkered with electricity but loved the thrill of the hunt and the sound of his fishing line singing. His greatest joy came from the treasured time he spent with his grandchildren. Charles has finally found rest and the ultimate peace beyond our understanding.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Martha Cross Hall; his children, Mark & Suzetta Hall and Obediah Hall; his grandchildren, Jonathan Hall, Savannah Duke and Caleb Duke; his great-granddaughter, Charlotte Duke; and his siblings, James Earl Hall (Peggy) and Brenda Akins (Dwight). In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his son, William Hall, and his grandson, Wayne Edward Hall.
The memorial service for Charles & Martha will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor DeWitt Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at their home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.bryantfuneralga.com. Memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 432 E. Shotwell Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819.
