Charles Richard Harper, 70, widower of the late Brenda Laverne Harper, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026. He was born on March 9, 1955 in Georgetown, Kentucky to the late Patricia True and Richard Harper.

Mr. Harper loved motorcycles, camping, cookouts and beach trips. Above all he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory includes his son, Kevin (Kristina Young) Harper; sister, Lisa (Shelly) Mullins; brother, Walter (Laurie) Harper; grandchildren, Brayden Harper and Zachary Harper.

A gathering for family and friends will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 4-6pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon crossing, with a celebration of life service set for 5:30pm. Erich Misner will be officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Parkinson's Alliance.

Hey , it´s Kimberly McFarland. Gayle and Peggy McFarland granddaughter I am very sorry for the passing of Uncle Richard Harper son. I only seen. Charles once in my life as well as most of the Harper´s that were before Cecil l Harper and more of the ones that were older than me but I still think of all my family as family and I have a heart for family and family is family no matter what so please take care of everyone and if you need me please get me back.

Very sorry to hear of Charlie´s passing. Although I hadn´t been in touch with him for many years, we were friends during our high school years. I have many great memories of great times that we shared. My condolences to his family.
