Libby, Mike and Family,

I was so sorry to read of your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time of grieving. I so enjoyed going to drum & bugle shows with your Dad and also to dinner club during the off season. Keep your memories near your heart and you will find Chuck there often.

May you be blessed having been his family!

I'm one of hundreds of Epworth Woods Camp staff that were mentored by Chuck over the years. He guided many of us while we guided campers. Chuck, Dee, the "Nunce" and others were a big part of our lives. Chuck was also our 8th grade home room instructor at Stewart School. When we misbehaved at Stewart School, we were fined by having to bring Chuck a specific number of worms for his fishing trips. Worms were difficult to hunt in winter. Although camp was 50 years ago, stopping to say "hello" to him on Mintwood was always a highlight of my PA trips. Four summers during the 60's at EWC were incredibly memorable due to Chuck's leadership. Chuck will be missed. RIP kumbaya, left hind foot of a rabbit, my brother bill, over hill over dale, are now sung by my grandkids.

Libby and family - So sorry for your loss.
I remember caroling at his place for Christmas.
He always liked to come to our church picnics when he wasn't vacationing in the south. Such a nice guy!

Sorry to hear of Chuck's passing! As a fellow teacher, I always respected his opinion on matters dealing with the BEA and education in general. He was respected by his colleagues and his students. Being neighbors, it was neat to be able to rely on Libby to babysit our daughter, Joy. Thanks to the Harrigers for being there for that. My deepest condolences and sympathy to you, the Harriger fammily.

Scott and family,

So sorry to hear about your father's passing. He passed his love of the outdoors to you. And he was one of the few teachers that i could say was appreciated his students. Loved our fishing trips. Class of 76 still rocks.

My deepest sympathy for the family. I remember him as a dedicated teacher who made a difference in my life and in that of many other students. He truly cared for his students and will always be remembered.

So sorry to read about Charles. I took Charles to and from the airport many times .I always felt better after being being with Charles he was so kind and gentle.
What a great world this would be if we had a few more people like him. My guess his first question when he got to heaven was which way to Disneyland
