Charles Hill Obituary
Born in Woodbury, NJ, he built a life grounded in integrity, curiosity, and deep love for the people around him. For many years, he worked in Information Technology in the banking industry, where he was known for his steady expertise, patient problem solving, and unwavering commitment to helping colleagues succeed. His work was meticulous, but it was his kindness that colleagues remembered most.
Nothing brought him greater joy than watching his grandchildren play sports. Whether it was dance recitals, soccer, color guard, volleyball, softball, lacrosse, or basketball, he was their most loyal fan. He celebrated every small victory, offered encouragement after every tough game, and cherished the simple happiness of being present for their growing-up years. For his family, there is no memory of those games that doesn't include him - his smile on the sidelines, his voice cheering, his pride shining through every moment.
Beyond his family and career, he believed deeply in supporting those in need. He made sandwiches for the needy as part of his parish ministry at Christ Our Light in Cherry Hill. He was a proud supporter of Face to Face in Philadelphia, an organization dedicated to hospitality, nourishment, and dignity for neighbors experiencing hardship. His generosity reflected his lifelong belief that every person deserves compassion and respect.
Relatives and friends will gather Friday January 30th from 12:30 to 1:30pm in The Schetter Funeral Home, 304 W. Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ. Funeral service Friday 1:30pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to Face to Face (Face to Face Germantown), honoring his commitment to helping others.

Sorry to hear. Charles was one of my best friends in high school. We spent many lunchtimes together playing tennis and basketball. Always ready with a witty comment. He was a great friend to me. Bill Lange(Class of 1960)
