Charles Lester "Chuck" Holden

Charles "Chuck" Lester Holden, of Lumberton, MS, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at the age of 70. When he was able to, he loved fishing and hunting. He was a wonderful PawPaw, who loved spoiling his family. Chuck loved his dog Bella and sitting with his chickens and praying. He loved gardening and planted stuff every year. He loved being outside. He will be missed by all that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Vernie Holden; one son, Richard Holden; five brothers, Horace Holden, Lee Roy Holden, Julius Holden, Melvin Holden and Thomas Holden; seven sisters, Winona Holden, Leona Holt, Evelyn Tyson, Eloise Frere, Loretta Jones, Shirley Swanner and Peggy Holden.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sharon Holden; three children, Russell Holden, Timothy Holden and Shira Salley (Robert); one grandchild, Nicole Williams; 2 great-grandchildren, Addison Williams and Annabella Hinton; two sisters, Hilda Sapera and Jane Dees; a host of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend Chuck's funeral services on Monday, October 24, 2022 for 11:00 am at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home, 216 Alabama Ave, Bogalusa, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Burial will follow in McGehee Cemetery. Rev. Larry Lassley will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Nicole Williams, Joshua Williams, Ben Duncan, Donald Fussell, Robert Salley and Patrick Garza. Honorary pallbearer, Michael Parker.
