Charles "Frank" Hon

Charles Franklin Hon, 60, of Fullerton California, passed away on December 27, 2024. Frank was a devout Christian, son, husband, father, grandfather and friend whose faith, unconditional love, and silly humor touched the lives of many.
Frank was born on October 11, 1964 in Artesia California where he was raised by his mother, Margo, and father, Charles Edgar Hon. He is described by his mother as a rambunctious child that was always happy and playful. Frank began working at Artesia Feed at 17 and could never have imagined the career this would lead to 40 years later.
Frank and Veronica were married in 1988 and honeymooned in Maui. Over the next few decades, the entire family would visit Maui for family vacations. He made countless memories with his family, jumping off waterfalls, snorkeling coral reefs and exploring the island's beaches. When they were not vacationing in Maui, he could be found at a hockey rink somewhere watching one of the kids playing.
Frank took pride in building up the people around him. He spent his career developing sales teams and growing companies in the Pet Food industry. This work would take him around the globe. He enjoyed traveling and fulfilled his lifelong dream of a European vacation with Veronica in 2022, where they visited Paris, Rome, Amalfi and Croatia.
He was a steadfast Christian and spent the beginning of every morning reading his bible before starting his day. Frank was called to share the gospel with countless family members, friends and colleagues. With his children grown and out of the house, he continued to provide mentorship and guidance to each of them as they navigated difficult challenges in their careers and relationships. He spent the last 14 months showering his granddaughter with love and laughter as the "fun guy." He walked his only daughter down the aisle on her wedding day in September 2024.
Frank is survived by his wife of 36 years, Veronica; his children, Ryan (Stephanie) Hon and Jessica (Corey) Peters and his granddaughter Beatrix Hon.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held to remember the life of Frank on Saturday, January 11th at Bridge Community Church in Orange, California.
