Charles James House, Jr. passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Charles was born April 4, 1935, son of Charles J. House, Sr. and Bernice House nee Mullenschlader. He graduated from Wentzville High School in 1953. Charles married his beloved wife, Patricia "Joan" (Blalock) House on July 9, 1955 in Dardenne, MO. Their wedding was the first to take place at the Weldon Springs Garden Baptist Church. They recently celebrated 70 years of marriage. He was a member of IBEW Local #1 Union. Charles enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially boating on the river with his kids and grandkids almost every weekend. He also liked to travel, and go camping and crappie fishing. He and Joan were snowbirds who spent winters in Florida from 1992-2014. He was the instigator in many situations and loved to cause trouble.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia "Joan" House nee Blaylock; his three sons, James (Cindy) House, Jeffery (Debbie) House, Douglas (Paula) House; brother, Dennis (Pamela) House; eleven grandchildren, William House, Jeffery House, Tabatha House, Marcie Mattson, Tyson House, Emily Rettew, Andrea House, Nicky House, Sarah Hausladen, Kenny Sohn, and Kara Johnston; 19 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Princeton James House.
