Charles "Joe" Houston

Charles "Joe" Houston, 59, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away on September 22, 2025, in Muskogee. He was born on October 3, 1965, in Muskogee to Charles Joseph Houston, Jr. and Oma Maxine Bolding.

Joe was a talented small engine mechanic, gifted with the ability to repair anything his family and friends brought his way. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, and his skills and generosity left a lasting impact on those who knew him. Above all, Joe treasured the time he spent with his family, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.

He is survived by his daughter, Shayla Christensen; son-in-law, Thomas Little; granddaughters, Layla Little, Ryleigh Little, and Aurora Maxine; sisters, April Bryan and Candi Spears; brother-in-law, Danny Spears; uncle, Bill Hughes; nieces, Megan Dunlap, Kaylee Spears, and Hope Riggs; nephews, Robert Doak, Randy Doak, Charlie Wayne Houston, Matayo Spears, Jonathan Spears, and Blue Spears. He is also survived by many beloved cousins, great-nieces and nephews, and his chosen brothers, Jerry Abbot and Billy Allison.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Oma Maxine Bolding and Charles Joseph Houston, Jr. and his brother, Danny Wayne Houston.

Viewing will be held from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Rex Griffin officiating. Memorial and Cremation Care has been entrusted to Lescher Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.
