Charles S. Insalaco, age 83, of Wilmington, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
Charles was born in Pittston, PA, son of the late Elizabeth (Storz) and Calogero "Charles" Insalaco. Charles graduated from Kings College with his bachelors degree and from Villanova University. Charles went on to become the CFO at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals until his retirement. Charles was a true family man who loved spending as much time with his family as possible. In his free time, Charles enjoyed traveling with his wife, Megan, golfing, cooking, and making people laugh with his quick wit. In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by his loving wife, Megan Insalaco; and sister, Elizabeth Brogna.
Charles is survived by his daughters, and their husbands, Jennifer Insalaco-Wright and Robert Wright, Danielle Insalaco, and Megan and Ted Pearcy; grandchildren, Nicholas Sparrow and Charlotte Capie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom he all loved.
Funeral services for Charles will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Charles name to Alzheimer's Association (Alz.org) 225 N. Michigan Ave, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
