Marilyn is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Ann Insalaco. She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Hack of Rochester and Margie (Tom) Hults of Virginia, niece Christina (Darren) Forcier, nephews Brian (Diana) Hack and Greg (Heather) Hack; great nieces and nephews, Madison & Brayden Forcier, Dylan Hack, Andrew & Olivia Hack. Also survived by many loving cousins. Marilyn also enjoyed visits from her canine buddy, Ollie.

Over the years, Marilyn resided at Monroe Community Hospital before moving to group homes on Beckwith Road and finally CP Rochester Benedict Road, where she lived for 30 years and had many wonderful caregivers. Marilyn was a longtime attendee of the CP Rochester Day Habilitation program and enjoyed spending time with her friends there. She returned to Monroe Community Hospital after a long illness and hospitalization and resided there for the past 2 years. The family is thankful for all of the caregivers who provided comfort and assistance to Marilyn over the years. She had a smile that could light up a room and would often smile even when you knew she was not feeling well. In the last years of her life, her most treasured items were her stuffed animals (babies), especially the bright pink llama who was ever present even through the long hospitalizations. She loved dogs but didn't care much for cats and she made friends wherever she went. Marilyn always enjoyed seeing pictures of family, having a sweet treat, going to the Olive Garden for birthday lunches, the CP Rochester Halloween Walk-About, movies and just about any activity she was taken to! We were lucky to have her for 80 years and will miss her dearly.
