Charles Wilber Jenkins

Charles W. Jenkins, age 89, of Buford, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty years, Jeannette Huff Jenkins, and brother-in-law, Vernon Huff. Mr. Jenkins is survived by his daughter, Nancy Marie Jenkins Hayes of York, SC; son, Charles Mark Jenkins of Danielsville, GA; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Barbara Huff; nieces, Mary Burdett Haney of Braselton, GA and Sara Burdett Reed of Buford; and Charlie's Angels. Mr. Jenkins was born on November 27, 1935 in Philadelphia, MS. He graduated in 1954 from House High School in Union, MS and in 1956 from East Central Junior College in Decatur, MS. Mr. Jenkins was a retired salesman from Barber Supply Company, and also from B R Moore Construction Company doing railroad construction. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Buford, GA. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Newbern and Rev. Danny Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until time for the service.
