Charles Allen Johns passed away peacefully with his family at his side on September 14th, 2025. Born on July 22, 1951, in Maryland, he was the son of the late Linderberg Johns and Mary Helen Willis nee Manis. Charles was the loving husband of the late Christine Simon Johns.
Charles proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps from 1970-1974 and worked his way up to Sergeant E5. In the Marines, he was an 1811 Tanker Crewman, 2111 Infantry Weapon Repairman with a speciality in Small Arms. His hard work earned him a National Defense Service Medal. After the Marines, he worked at CNP, which eventually became Verizon and was able to retire from upper management after a long and rewarding career. He then enjoyed spending time in the garden with his flowers, tinkering in his shed, sitting on the beach, shooting at the range, and traveling. He was also part of the Corvette Club and spent many days at the events with his 2 Corvettes. He was a huge fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. In his eyes, his family was “#1” and he would do anything and everything for them.
