Charles Alan Johnson

Charles Alan Johnson, age 62, passed away peacefully at home on December 24, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Jean Johnson and Robert Johnson, and his siblings, Gloria Bender, Robert “Bobby” Johnson, and Debrah “Debbie” Wolfe. Charles was a simple man with a big heart. He was a devoted father and grandfather whose greatest joy came from time spent with his family. He had a lifelong passion for NASCAR and was a loyal fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and Ohio State Buckeyes football. Above all else, Charles lived a life rooted in love for his daughters and grandsons. He was a proud and loving father to Lilly Hamm (Earl) and Emily Vance (Zach). Few roles brought him more happiness than being “Grandpa” to Jackson and Nolan Vance, who were a constant source of pride and joy in his life. He is survived by his sister, Carol Grooms, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply. Charles will be remembered for his strong work ethic, quick sense of humor, impressive Photoshop skills, and the quiet ways he showed his love through his actions. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished so deeply. He will be greatly missed and forever lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

There will be no remembrance service, and he will be placed with his parents in Sabina Cemetery.at a later date.
