Shirley R. Ward, 77of Reesville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 24, 2025, with her daughters by her side.
Born February 4, 1948, in Wilmington, the daughter of Everett Wayne and Violet Ann Williams Brewer.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Brandy (Roger) McCord of Sabina and Misty Ferguson of Wilmington and their father, Karl Ward, also several grandchildren and great grandchildren. As well as her brother Earl (Patti) Brewer of Huber Heights and sister-in-law Elizabeth Brewer of Florida along with many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded by her first husband, Kenneth Wayne Faul In 1968.
She worked for many years at McCalls restaurant in Melvin as well as international paper and retired as a relator with Sibcy-Cline.
In recent years she enjoyed working on her flower beds and selling produce from a small stand at her home. Also spending time with her family was always her favorite activity.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Rodney Brewer, son-in-law Derrick Ferguson and niece Anita Brewer as well as her first husband Kenneth Wayne Faul and 3 children: Margaret Ann, Michael Allen and David Wayne Faul.
Visitation will be on Tuesday December 30, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service at 5:00 P.M. at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina
