Charles Alec Jones

Charles Alec Jones, 32, of Newcomerstown, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at his home. He was born January 2, 1992 in Coshocton, to Michelle (Theriault) Fyock and Kelly Jones. He was a 2011 Newcomerstown High School and Buckeye Career Center graduate. He was a U.S. Army specialist, serving from 2011 to 2015, having received many awards during his service. He loved to fish, loved his family and spending time with friends, and he loved the Grateful Dead. In addition to his parents, Alec is survived by his step-dad; Robert Fyock; step-mom, Peggy Jones; siblings, Kylee and Laken Fyock, Alexis and Cassidy Styer; grandparents, Barbara and JR Fyock, Carolyn Jones, Harry and Jean Jones; nieces and nephews, Harper Sammons, Grayson Fyock-Milburn, Cashton Fyock, Alayna, Ava, Wyatt, Wesley, and Wayde. Services for Alec will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown with Evangelist David Kenney officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm at the Addy Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to a local charity for substance abuse.
