Charles M Kehoe Jr.

Charles M. "Chick" Kehoe, Jr., passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 in St. Mary Home. He was born in Hartford, son of the late Charles M. and Bridget (Boyko) Kehoe and was a graduate of St. Augustine School and South Catholic High School. He was a proud United States Marine and was honorably discharged as Lance Corporal in 1973. Prior to his retirement, Chick worked at the Carabetta Companies, was a skilled craftsman who was self-employed as a contractor, and finally as Vice-President and General Manager at Tires Plus Wheels in Hartford. He was committed to Narcotics Anonymous (NA) for almost 37 years, having sponsored many, was very active in that community and spoke at NA meetings across the State of Connecticut and at prisons over many years. Chick loved his family, grabbing dinner with friends, telling stories and holding court. He enjoyed traveling, visiting Aruba, Las Vegas and numerous places in the United States and around the world. He had a very strong spirit and steadfastly maintained a positive attitude, never complaining as MS reduced his mobility and health over the last 10 to 15 years.

Chick is survived by his son Charles M. "Chuck" Kehoe III and his wife Marciene and his grandchildren, Ava, Charlie and Andrew. He is also survived by his brother Michael K. Kehoe and his wife Lori, nephew, Michael K. Kehoe II and his wife Jessica and their son, Michael "Trey" Kehoe, nephew Brian Kehoe, his many cousins from the Kehoe and Boyko families, his stepdaughter, Jessica Chirdon, her husband Matthew and their children, Lillian and Julia, his stepson, Eric Peterson and his former wife, Nancy (Sylvester) Kehoe. He is predeceased by his brother, David Kehoe and his former wife, Jacquelyn (Robidoux) Peterson.

Friends and family may call on the Kehoe family from 10:00am to 12 Noon on Friday, February 13, 2026 at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. A memorial service celebrating Chick's life will immediately follow at 12 Noon in the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Saint Mary Home who cared for him over the last five years.
